Every End is a New Beginning

"Every story has an end, but in life every end is a new beginning."

I think it is important to remember that when one door closes, another one opens. Whether it is a job, relationship, friendship, or opportunities in general, it is hard when change occurs. Often we dwell on the negative, and can't see the new opportunity that has been given to us. I know personally that I don't take change well, I like when my life is consistent and has order. But, I am learning that if my life always stays the same, then there is no room for improvement.  Heartbreak is one of the hardest things a person will go through. It will make you think that you're going to be alone forever. When you're used to being with someone for so long, it is hard to let go of that. These things in life are going to be hard, and there will be bumps in the road. A lot of the times we think that those bumps are going to go on forever, but that is not true. In 10 or 20 years we will look back on our life, and realize that the things we worry about now weren't important. When you're married, you will understand all the heartbreak you went through. When you have your dream job, you will realize why every other job did not work out. This is how life works, and this is something we all struggle with comprehending. The bad times will make the good times so much better. Believe that everything has a plan, and that it will all unfold how it is supposed too. Your life is so much more than you think it is. Work towards being a better version or yourself, and never give up on your dreams. People and opportunities will come and go, but you determine your own happiness in the end. Love yourself and cherish the happy moments in life. Sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together.

Farewell to my Favorite Class

This week is a bittersweet week for me. It is the last week of my social media class, and this class has taught me a lot about things that I thought I already knew. I figured that I was going to be an expert in social media since I use it everyday, but I was wrong about that. My favorite part of this class was starting a blog. I had never thought about blogging before, until I was forced to create an account and start writing for my social media class. I was never a huge fan of writing, so I figured I would hate it. I actually love it, it turns out that there is something exciting about writing things you're passionate about. If this class didn't force me to start a blog, then I do not think I would have ever started one. This blog is going to be something I continue after this class is over, and I am excited to see where it takes me.       Another important thing that this class taught me was how to use social media for professional use, and not only personal use. I...

I am a 20-year-old college student pursuing a bachelors degree in Marketing and a masters degree in Business Administration. I come from a family of four that consists of my mom, dad, and younger sister. I was born and raised in northern Illinois. Growing up I had a passion of competitive cheerleading, and that was all my life consisted of. I would eat, sleep, breathe cheerleading and everything about it. I went from being passionate about my cheerleading, to being passionate about having a successful future. College was never a question in my eyes. My parents always told me that I was going to college, so that was always my plan.       When I started my college experience I started at the University of Missouri (Mizzou). At Mizzou I was able to experience what college was all a...
